GM Meeting

Saturday, August 12th

The GM Meeting actually began on Saturday evening with Adam, Chris C. and Larry kicking off the weekend with a brief reunion at Hooters. What would a GM meeting be without Hooters? We don't really know, do we? BTW, it was Adam who named the NSHL the Net Surfer's Hockey League.

Next stop, Georgie's

Waiting for our trio was Commissioner Gordon. Conspicuously on display at Georgie's, behind the bar is the Cam Neely Cup, championship trophy of the NSHL. The only physical trophy awarded in an Internet fantasy hockey league in the known universe.

Chrispy was there too, but he soon left not to return until many empty beer bottles later. Ace had Foo summoned and soon the meeting was in full swing.

Adam and Chris watched the Blue Jays and then lost a lot of money on the VLTs. Foo played the VLTs too and made enough money to pay for all the free drinks he served his fellow GMs.

Larry just drank whatever was handed to him and complained alot about how the League better get its act together to just about anybody who would listen.

Sunday, August 13th

The second day called for recreation. We met at the parking lot at Georgie's for some street hockey on Sunday afternoon. After warming up in the front lot and dodging cars making their way to the cold beer store we decided to move out to the back parking lot of the hotel. We parked our cars in strategic spots to prevent any through traffic and the game was on. The final score was 121 to 119 but don't ask who won.

	Larry charges the "puck" while Chrispy playing up charges Chris C. Both Adam and Chris C. wore their hockey gloves which complimented nicely with their open-toed sandals. Go figure!
